don't be silly. of course you can't be just friends with someone you're interested in, who you befriended with the intent of being more than friends but due to certain circumstances hindered you from breaking through the friend zone. you keep telling yourself and that someone and the people around you that you're just friends. but no matter what you tell yourself in the back of your mind you still want to be more than friends with that someone and you're just waiting for certain circumstances to allow you to be.
