weekend blaaaah(st)

friday

had an early dinner with my purrty friend at jollibee landmark. had a great time talking with her. after dinner i asked her to accompany me to tower records to inquire about the rockestra ii tickets. too bad that their system was offline. apparently their system was only online until 4pm. sucks. since we were in tower we decided to stay awhile and browse for new music. saw the new album of imago and stayed in front of the rack for more than 20 minutes. left tower records happy.

met up with kei and nikki at gb powerbooks. had dinner with them at jollibee(!) glorietta. (hmm... *technicaly* had dinner. i only had dessert. :P) later mark came and joined us. had a grand time talking about our grown-up lives, e.g. work and high school life (syempre!). i find it funny how our stories are evolving from teeny booper movies to family matters. and oh, mark thought us how to tie our shoe laces in less than a second. coolness! (but i think this is still better. :D)

arrived at laguna around 11:30. fed peewee the rememnants of the chicken joy that niks and mark had. (poor dog only prefers bones instead of rice nowadays... :S) played 50 fights of tekken using kuma-chan because i was itching to use his roll move. (d, D/F+1+2, 1_2_3_4_1+2_3+4) yey to the bear mix-ups! :D had my daily workout before washing my face and going to bed.

saturday

woke up at 8. took a bath and went to pacita's bayad center to pay our meralco bill. after that went to the mini tiangge in search for a new game or two. too bad they didn't have okami or shadow of the colossus. bummer. decided to buy dibidis instead. i was looking for the intial d the movie (live action) but here's what i got instead,

fast and the furious tokyo drift - (forgive me for being pop.) eye candy! and the drift scenes... wow!! storywise, it's like porn.

freddy got fingered - tom green is plain old weird and his weirdness reflects in his humor. very very funny if you like tom green or you're a wierdo. (look dad! i'm a farmer! i'm a farmer!)

top gun - tom cruise! you've lost that loving feeling... wooh... that loving feeling...

when harry met sally - ^________^ at last found a copy of this movie. see me smile. ^________^ this movie is all about smart funny and witty conversations about how men and women think. very very very entertaining.

a quick stop at the grocery to buy some merienda for my pending dibidi marathon and i was off to go home. while waiting in line for another passenger, this lady started chatting with me.

obaasan: wala kang pasok ngayon?
me: ummm... wala po. (kilala ba kita?)
obaasan: e si apple?
me: meron po. (pocha, dapat kilala ko to a.)
obaasan: nasaan mama mo?
me: nasa pampanga po. (ahh, ka-street ko pala 'to.)
obaasan: ikaw lang mag-isa dyan sa inyo?
me: opo.

then she proceeds to talk about her son and his new job. then out of the blue she asks me,

obaasan: may girlfriend ka ba?
me: ha? wala po.
obaasan: ows? meron ata...
me: wala po talga.

and to add insult to injury...

obaasan: wala ba talaga? ... bakit?
me: ha e... tara na po. may tricycle na o.

argh! don't you just hate that? >_<

got home prepared lunch, watched some eat bulaga and dibidi marathon commenced (with tekken breaks) until 10ish. slept afterwards.
