why is it that something you know that's so wrong can feel so right...?

  1. In that case, maybe, what you know is wrong..

  2. but i know for a fact that it is wrong...

  3. you think you know for a fact that it is wrong.

  4. You devil's advocates leave Jam alone! :p

Because Jam... sometimes people like Nik, Cel and Frank are right but also because sometimes its just the way it is.

Solution: "Vulcanize" yourself. Hehe term ko lng yun. Be logical.

    But then look who's talking....

  5. something that's wrong but feels so right is still something wrong. there should be no grey areas there to delve in.

but then, that's just my opinion. ;)

  6. han: it's quite hard when the rational mind fights against the irrational heart. blech! (this thought originaly came from jas.Ü)

  8. jam, it's still wrong. kahit balibaliktarin mo ang mundo... mali pa rin. really, it won't feel right once you give in to it, lalo na when the time comes na you have to face the consequences. and no, this isn't one of those damn-the-consequence thingies.

  11. Sometimes you need not dwell on things too much. Dark clouds over your head can totally engulf you and the only light of hope you're still seeing may flicker away with it. Don't fret... you'll be fine.Ü

  12. anony: it just wouldn't be me if i didn't... :p

  13. So right Jam. Look where my irrational heart lead me. :)

As for fretting, the more you fret the more you tax your brain making it bog down and thus letting your heart get the better of you. Let it go. Distract yourself.

  14. Hahaha, one of the refrains of my life. What I've learned?
    1. I totally agree. It's still wrong.
    2. So leave it. Amputate yourself! (Figuratively, of course) I'll email you an excerpt from "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis

  15. iba talaga pag ambiguous yung post. comment-whoring!

  16. Ambiguous.

    Anyway..

Morally what you think is wrong is really wrong, no matter what other people may say. We have our own standards, not just because of the Christian doctrines, but because our free will is ought to be used in the way we know that is best for the human kind. Technically, if someone labels it correct because, as you have said, can feel so right, it is STILL NOT, because deep inside you are bearing some guilt, and you know for a fact that it is wrong.

You should remember, we are not judged by our beliefs (religion) but what is good (mabuti). To quote from my friend, hindi naman importante kung ano religion mo, basta mabait ka. Well, I contradict that mabait (kind) is way way different from mabuti.

  17. Hi Jam. It's still wrong. I thought you were already decided about this? (if this is what I think it is).

Generally speaking, it's up to you. If you seriously feel you won't give in because it's worth the whole world even if you feel it's wrong, go ahead.

    Quoting Richard Feynman:
"If I do this, what will happen?" -scientific question
"Do I want that to happen?" - moral question

Jenoa, I don't know where your irrational heart led you. You're OK, great even.

Armi, I'm interested about CS Lewis The Great Divorce. Email mo din ako :)

  24. Yun Ange! I think you got the solution!

And Jam if that still doesn't work then you got it baaad. Time to go back to Armi's suggestion, amputate yourself.

Or maybe we guys should stop commenting kasi lalo mong di makakalimutan! :)
