no punchline

yesterday while i was in an elavator going down i was wondering what would happen if the cables that were holding the elevator sudddenly snapped and severed apart from the elevator. we'd probably plummet to the ground immediately but the emergency breaks would save us a grizzly death. but what if, what if the emergency breaks malfunctioned? ha! i was thinking if a timed jump could save me. (but i read somewhere that the best way to survive an elevator crash is to lay flat on the elevator's floor. don't ask me why.)

this particular idea of a small skit has been buried in my mind for sometime now. (about two years... i think) well the sketch is composed of four people in a telephone conversation, person A is talking with person B and person 1 is talking with person 2. their dialogues would be the same throughout the skit. i don't know how to sequence the scenes but there should be an indrotuctory scene of person A and B's conversation and person 1 and 2's conversion. the following scenes thereafter involve person A's "conversation" with person 1 and 2 and person B's "conversation" with person 1 and 2. of course their exchanges should somewhat resemble an actual dialogue with the other person, must be coherent and should make sense. problem is i don't know how to go about it.

hey, feel free to use my idea. just be sure to give me *some* credit.Ü

  1. I think that if you managed to time your jump correctly... it wouldn't affect your downward momentum at all. It would just delay the inevitable. Sooo sorry.

  2. i suppose that i'd just also delay the inevitable when i'd try to jump off from the top of a collapsing building during an earthquake before it strikes the ground... 5uxx!

  3. "I think that if you managed to time your jump correctly... it wouldn't affect your downward momentum at all. It would just delay the inevitable. Sooo sorry."But it does depend on how high you were just before you fell, right?

"i suppose that i'd just also delay the inevitable when i'd try to jump off from the top of a collapsing building during an earthquake before it strikes the ground..."But it'd be cool!

"but i read somewhere that the best way to survive an elevator crash is to lay flat on the elevator's floor.."I never heard/read of this before, but, it makes sense!
